things don't always go as they're planned, do they?

So, my big date with the HPS was rescheduled to Wednesday afternoon. One cannot conduct an interview when one is apparently horribly sick, so the change was inevitable. Contrary to the insinuation, I was not the one who was sick. It was the principal! He fell ill in the morning, and his wife took him home. Unfortunately, the school couldn't get in touch with me in time, so I found out when the school nurse met me in the office this morning. Oh well, these things happen...it's not that big of a deal. Therefore, Wednesday it is!

Nice night in Monson last night! 106/100/114. I bowled 14 pins OVER my average thanks to using the advice I was given last week. Watching my wrist more closely, combined with moving over a few boards to the right has recently done wonders for my game. I'm hoping to keep it up Wednesday AM. Makes the game that much more enjoyable, that's for sure.

I'm wondering if I'm going to be cut out for the MSSCT. I really like the idea of joining a pro tour, but I had originally thought this tour was going to be for bowlers like me who aren't going to be able to compete with some of the big dogs that you see on television. However I've recently found that Lou Alberghini, Craig Holbrook and a few of the other big names are in...and that only makes me apprehensive toward joining it. I'm afraid my $350 will be out the proverbial window very quickly, and that I won't have a chance of scoring in the money. I don't know...maybe I should wait a year?

Another huge update to the gallery will come soon. I'll be getting some pictures of some Northern MA centers this week, as well as what is probably the best candlepin center in the US...Bowl-O-Rama (Portsmouth, NH). Look for that in the near future.

Look for me at Candlepin Challenge's next taping December 10. Just find the loudest guy there and that'll be me. Stop by and say, 'Hi!"
