well, here goes nothing

With less than two days to prepare both an introduction to four mathematics classes and one language arts class, I'm off to school.  This is going to be quite the interesting day. 

 

As most of you know, I'm from congregational stock.  Therefore, you'll be able to sympathize with me when I tell you that I'll be marching across the parking lot this morning at 8 AM for the first day obligation to mass this week.  Since school starts today, we celebrate a mass of educational focus.  So while I've got absolutely nothing against the Roman Catholic Church, I'll be a fish out of water for a period of time this morning.  I wonder how long it'll take the kids to figure out I'm not Catholic...I'm figuring about 3 1/2 minutes.  LOL

 

Thank goodness I got the room with air conditioning!  I'd be sweltering today, that's for sure.  The building is a fortress, built in the early 1900's.  And we all know, "they don't make 'em like that anymore!" 

 

So, if anyone needs a prayer this morning, get in touch before 8 AM...I'll light a candle for you!
