Minister-gate 2

My friend, the minister who made the horribly inappropriate comment, has yet to return my emails and phone calls...all of which have been very gentle.  I'm saddened by this development as I'd love to hear what's on his mind.  It's interesting to note my parish priest's comments regarding the incident, calling the quip a "horrible misstep in the most Unchristian way."  Pretty strong words from a man who's second language is English. 

 

So, what's next?  I have no idea.  I do wish my father were still around; I could use some advice from him right now.  That would help my thought process...this one's difficult to sort.
