We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.

Those are Ben Franklin's words, not mine. However, it's appropriate considering the nice emails and words I've received today. Thanks.

My first post of today wasn't meant to extract sympathy and/or pity for a poor soul who can't hack it. Rather, the post was just a continuation of the dialogue I've opened with the candlepin world...those in it that I know, and those that I do not.

Be that as it may, I know ol' Ben was right. If we, as a collective, don't begin to understand that we're all in this thing...life in general...together, we're doomed as a society. And that's why the events of last night baffle me so much. The microcosim of the world that we call candlepin doesn't need things like this.

Maybe we should think about that little idea a bit? It might make all our lives a lot better.
