you know what stinks?

When the home team jumps out to a 2-0 lead, then gives up 4 runs in the very next inning. In 43F cold. In front of 7,000 fans. On opening day.

Oh yeah, and we struck out 13 Fisher Cats, too...not to mention out hitting 'em. A nice 6-4 loss to put us at 2-3. I say we put the hurt on 'em tomorrow afternoon so we can go into the rain soaked day off (Sunday) at 3-3.

This team shows promise. It hits, runs the bases well and fields well. Take out that abomination of a 2nd inning, and we would have won 4-2. The walk bug got us today.

The good part of the game was seeing an assistant superintendent I know from the New Britain schools. He's instructed me to get my credentials over to him. Another iron in the fire! That's a good thing.
