good night for my team!

We took all 3 games, grabbing 6 points and moving into 3rd place! With 3 weeks left, we have a shot at making some cash in the league. That would be very nice!

What a night with thunderstorms all around me here in CT. The Rock Cats were overwhelmed with wind and rain, so we're playing 2 today. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by. Ya can't beat the price, that's for sure.

I've been spending part of my time this week just checking out the links at the website, trying to keep them updated properly. I've added some new links for league scores, as well as the taping dates for the upcoming season of Candlepin Challenge. Personally, I'd really love to see folks pack the house for the tape dates. Stop using excuses like, "The Pats are on" or "The Sox are on" or whatever. I can understand taking kids to soccer or bowling leagues, etc. But if you're just sitting on the couch, get up and get to a taping! Watch some really exciting bowling in person! Woburn is a great house, smack in the middle of downtown. There's plenty of places to eat, a Dunkin Donuts right across the parking lot (for that morning coffee...10 AM comes early!), and easy access to highways about 5 minutes from the center!

Other exciting news: a brand new candlepin center has opened in Nashua, NH. Leda's Light House is a new division of Leda Lanes and it looks spectacular. Reports from some bowlers agree...the place is dynamite. There's a link on the CG homepage, so have a look!
