Ah, home cookin'. It sure does wonders for a guy's self image. After my paltry 291 last night, I followed it up with a nice 338 tonight, at my home center. And I can't help but believe that the change in bowling surface had something to do with the improvement in my numbers. But I've heard the same advice from at least half a dozen bowlers regarding synthetic lanes..."don't use the Vipers."

So, we'll drag out Paramounts next week and see how it helps. I'll bet dollars to donuts that it'll show me a jump in pinfall. One can hope!

I'll be invading Woburn, along with my family, for the first Comcast taping on Sunday. It should be a fabulous time, with (from what I hear) some great matches. And the first Strike Challenge feature is worth $1,000!!! If you're in the area, I suggest you get your bowling butt down to the Woburn Bowladrome to get your shot at a cool grand. I know I'll give it a go if I'm picked! HA!
