disappointed

On the other forum recently, a post was made regarding what is rumored to be a dispute between Vacationland Bowl and the ME State Assn. Innocently enough, I expressed my hope that the dispute would be settled and that all parties could move forward in a positive manner.

Unfortunately, I notice where that post was deleted. That is unfortunate and disappointing. You'd think an expression of hope and positivity would have been met with some sort of welcome. That is apparently not true.

I wonder, are the negative influences who work anonymously once again rearing their ugly and invisible heads? If so, it's a sad place that candlepin is in...influenced by those who love the drama they create. I'll choose to look at the brighter side of things, even if the invisible man (men? woman? women?) keeps the storm clouds brewing.

Nevertheless, I do hope Vacationland Bowl and the state association can work out what is purported to be an issue. There's really no winners in any disputes where a small "club" is involved. Let's hope they see that.
