work continues! slowly but surely!

Work continues on our recently bombed website. Unfortunately, these things happen...but this time, it's getting coded much less quickly due to my employment schedule. Yeah, employment takes time away from hobbies; but it does pay the bills. So I really can't complain. Look for CG to magically reappear on the web very shortly, with more links, more pictures (hopefully a new house or two) and some updated content. Thanks for all your support on this!

As I type this, I'm looking ahead a couple hours to bowling night. Should be a fun evening, as usual. My team is a bunch of great guys who truly want to do well...and they're supportive, too. It's a much different experience from the last place, and I'm happy I made the switch.

Wedding tasks are clicked off quickly. We'll be taking the tour of the reception venue this weekend, as well as meeting with the photographer. Unfortunately, we had to cancel with the DJ (damn weather). Oh well. That's not an issue. He seems understanding, and I'll reschedule with him as time allows.

You know, it's funny...the Christmas season is a beautiful time of the year, but my anxiety increases as I scramble to buy gifts for loved ones, plan family celebrations, and attend special church services. This anxiety leads to a lack of cheerfulness, and sometimes a sense of depression. Do you experience that, too? How do you combat it? It seems everyone's stress level climbs this time of year, and one must walk on eggshells in order to interact well with others. Yikes! Any help?

Finally, the 4th match at Sunday's Comcast taping pits Steve Renaud vs. Dan "Shoebag" Gauthier...two pals from the candlepin scene. I'm looking forward to getting up there to see this fantastic match, but I sure can't sit in the gallery and pull for either guy. But with the throng of fans who anticipate showing up for this great afternoon of bowling, I'm sure it's going to be one great game. If you have time, stop into the Woburn Bowladrome this Sunday to see it--it should be one for the ages!
