we're up...now to "straighten up" the rest of it!

So, we're up online. After a couple weeks of issues with uploading, etc., we're finally back and functional. The essential bits of the site are going along just fine (i. e., the gallery, this blog, etc.) but a couple of things need to be fixed up for 100% operation (such as the event calendar, the menus that were damaged, etc.).

UPDATE: the event calendar is back online! Hooray!

The link to the older forum is still there, and will be removed from the site this weekend. That forum became redundant and this is a great time to can it. We'll also try to figure out what happened to the event calendar. That feature was hosted on a different server that has apparently gone "belly up." As of this writing, I cannot access that feature from home, work or my laptop computer. That tells me that obviously, the problem isn't me or my previous website explosion.

I must say, I've been overwhelmed with the number of emails and well wishes in recent days. We'll be fully operational very soon--I'd figure in a week or so.
