nice start...

Candlepin’s favorite minor league ballclub, the New Britain Rock Cats, sits at an early 5-4 record! It’s nice to see the team evolve into a group that fights for every run, doing the little things it needs to do to win. We’re looking for big crowds this weekend as the weather is going to be great! And I’m excited to see the club apparently on the upswing.

Bowling winds down, that’s for sure. I’m happy with my performance this year, even if I was treated dishonestly by a center manager. It’s sad when one has to puff up his/her ego by spreading lies and innuendo about others. However, I’m thankful that I have friends that keep me posted in regards to that. So while I anticipate hearing more from this person, I can only feel sorry for him/her. I sure hope that person’s ego fits through the door!

Wedding plans are going well. We’re finalizing things this week, taking time out to ensure we’ve got our proverbial ducks in a row. And since we didn’t have enough to do, we’ve also decided to begin looking for a home of our own. Gee, let’s see…wedding, house hunting, honeymoon, visiting family members in other states…what else can we plan!

Not much else going on here…I’m refraining from commenting on the latest fiasco that torments the internet candlepin crowd…it’s just to silly to discuss!
